4 Week Mental Training Program for Athletes
As we approach the fall racing season, join us for Preparation Prompts, a four week mental training program for athletes to prepare for your next race.
Build confidence, reduce anxiety, and be ready to race by recognizing strengths, overcoming obstacles, and creating a plan for race day.
What’s included in the program?
Throughout the program you will focus on the non-training side of preparing for a race. Each week will include three journal prompts designed to help you review your training, overcome obstacles, build confidence, and create a race plan.
Keeping your already busy schedule in mind, the journal prompts have associated time recommendations of 2, 5, or 10 minutes and will be released one at a time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to reduce overwhelm and give you time to complete the challenge with the most impact.
By the end of the program, you’ll have a better sense of your strengths and obstacles plus, you’ll have your own race plan and printable timeline. You’ll also get feedback from Coach Carlie if you choose to submit your journal entries (they won’t be shared with anyone else!). You can choose to keep them private if you prefer, but won’t get the feedback.
