John Mendenhall
John Mendenhall II is a former D1 swimmer, specializing in breaststroke and the individual medley, at UMBC, where he earned his BA in Biology. He attended Rutgers for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, where he started triathlons in 2016. He qualified for world champs at the Olympic distance and IRONMAN events, with a 70.3 PR of 4:30:35 and IM PR of 9:37:12.
In addition to working as a swim and triathlon coach at The Endurance Edge, he is a practicing DPT at Next Level Physio in Cary. He enjoys helping active men and women over 40 and their families get to their next level, whether it be recovering from an injury, getting back to fitness, or performing at a high level in the sport of triathlon.
